Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for dropping by and taking interest in learning the beautiful Heartworks Lomi Lomi massage. This Hawaiian lineage massage was passed down through the generations and eventually onto Sherman Dudoit who was taught by a Kahuna from Hawaii. A Kahuna is a Master of Tradition, and in this case, a Master of Lomi Lomi (or Master of Massage). Sherman taught Mette Sorensen in Hawaii in 1998 and after opening her school of massage and personal development, Mette’s Institute, she asked him to come to Australia and teach. Mette Sorensen is both mentor, teacher and friend to your course facilitators Julian & Tara.
Julian and Tara volunteer and facilitate courses with Conscious Touch Collective, a School of Massage, Self Development and Professional Enhancement. Their intention, and the intention of Conscious Touch Collective is to work in harmony with nature and all living beings, to aid in the positive forward movement of human evolution by helping students shed more layers of unwanted stuff so they can help themselves and others heal on an even greater level. And in turn positively affect our world that is so very much in need.

We welcome locals and guests from afar. Our courses are live out so you will need to organise some accommodation if you are travelling from further afield and we suggest arriving the day before as these courses are intensive with full days. Let us know if would like assistance or suggestions with booking accommodation, there are many options for most budgets.
Installment Payment Plans are available. Simply make your $250 non refundable deposit, then make further payments as suited to your budget. Full payment is required by the course commencement date unless a tailored post payment arrangement has been made. Call Tara or Julian to discuss an arrangement possibility.
Our preferred method of payment is via Direct Bank Transfer although we do require the deposit via PayPal during the online registration process. And good old cash is also an option for locals who can come in and see us.

Included in your course payment:
- 38 hours of training for Level 1 and for Level 2 in Australia (Heartworks Level 1 & 2 Combined 6 day intensive – International Only)
- Receive 6 hours or more of massage
- Use of all studio equipment and facilities including massage tables & oil
- Certification and academic transcript
- Booklet for notes and to take home
- Morning & Afternoon Tea (consisting of healthy snacks, teas, water)
A lunch hour will be provided each day for you to eat your own packed lunch or dine at one of the many lovely cafe’s in Stanthorpe all located within 5 mins walking distance. The option for us to all dine together is available.
You will need to supply your own massage wear, towels, sarongs, sheets and a water bottle. A full list of what you will need including what to wear will be provided to you on registration.
